Classic Knight Rider Or Knight Rider 2008?
Wth the new Knight Rider show on the air, people seem to be taking sides on the issue of which is best: classic Trans Am style KITT and the Hoff as Michael Knight, or that ugly Mustang and whatever the heck the new guy's name is.
In my opinion.. KITT and the Hoff!!

The Original series has to be my favorite with David Hasselhoff is the one that rules over the new one but in the new one is not much of a favorite and you are right I still did not like the car in the new one but it lacks the fun escapism and really good excitement the original has but the original still holds a place to me. I think the new one just hasn't live up with me as a fan and the new actor he is so-so but he is not the Hoff and the new KITT is more of a muscle car than compared to the original KITT but I still say love the original with the Hoff any day.

I love both of them= Both KITTs are fantastic in their own way and the new Michael Knight is good also but I do agree that Hoff was better. The mustang is beautiful just as much as the Trans Am. I think the new Knight Rider i just as good as the old one. The new Knight Rider does not suck and in my book equals the old one.

At this time the original Knight Rider is broadcasted every workday in The Netherlands.I've almost seen every episode.Whe are here at the final season, KITT is just rebuilded with SPM (super pursuit mode).Last weekend I downloaded a few episodes of KR 2008. It's not bad, there are nice girls in the show, but it is not as origial and good as the serie with DH.
I saw the series with DH firt when I was 12, and I liked it very much.At present day, I still like the serie.It doesn't look so artificial as the new series.They don't make series with that quality at all nowadays.
The old series: number one!!!

I am a HUGE fan of the original Knight Rider (have the merchandise and all -- or what i can get) and have seen Knightrider2000 and have to say it wasnt the same -- and with this new one just come out knightrider2008 they used a Mustang ...... Its not KITT unless you use the original KITT and i felt that the last 2 programmes tried to capture what the original show had but failed ........
thats the prob with remakes -- they try to improve on what already worked brilliantly and die hard fans will only be left disappointed and let down ... I notice that when they remade The Dukes of Hazard -- they didnt change the general lee , but they had stifler (the guy from american pie) as one of the charecters?? lol

Trans Am style KITT and the Hoff as Michael Knight, of course, there is no contest who is the best. Trans Am KITT even has a better voice. The ugly Mustang sounds terrible.

Of course the old Knight Rider there´s only one K.I.T.T. and he´s a Trans Am.
I saw the new show but without The Hoff and the old K.I.T.T. i don´t like it.

I enjoyed the original series immensely. It had David, of course, and KITT and the interraction between the two of them were some of the best moments of the show. It did provide a sense of fun escapism(to borrow a phrase) that I enjoyed, but also had the required dramatic elements to keep us on the edge of our seats-or maybe I was just younger then.The problem I have with the new show is that I think it misses the basic premise that "one man can make a difference." I would like to believe that one man or woman CAN make a difference, but the new show makes it seem as if they can only do so with the support of technological advantages and a host of government support agencies behind them. I appreciate the new show as an action drama, but not in comparison to the original. If the show does continue, hopefully, we'll get closer to the original idea.
