SINGERS WANTED ROMP IS LOOKING FOR YOU, THE HOTTEST TALENT SHOW TO HIT MERSEYSIDE

(THE 1st EVER COMMUNITY BASED PROJECT OF ITS KIND BASED AROUND ONE OF THE NATIONS BIGGEST AND FAVOURITE MUSIC TYPES)

People from all over the Northwest turned up for HEAT 1 of ROMP (remix of musical performance) the first community based talented show to hit Merseyside as well as being the first of its kind within the dance world and looking to be as big as X Factor, At the moment, the HEATS are taking place at The Royal Oak Liscard Wallasey at 11am on the last Saturday of every month but from the response is looking to travel a cross the Northwest in 2010,

A big thank you to the companies involved, 7 Waves Radio, The Buz Magazine, Tommy Jones The Royal Oak, Castmeuk & Getwise Community Interest Company and Judges Michelle Billington, Laura Branscombe, John H Stracey, Ste Cocky Lee Butler & Ian Redman for putting there time into something that is going to change some ones life we are all very excited about being part of one of the nations’ biggest and favourite music types – it’s the music you hear when you’re out, and it’s all you hear on the radio on the weekend. Look at Cascada from the dance industry you see her on MTV all the time, and she performs in some of the worlds biggest dance clubs, as well as in arenas filled with 20,000 fans. .

Talented singers across the Northwest can not afford to miss out on being part of such an amazing opportunity Our winner could be doing the same as Cascada, Kelly Llorenna or Ultra Beat by the end of the year and we have some of the dance worlds best Clubland artist and DJs on board to Judge YOU

Ian Redman (ultra beat) Clubland Artist, DJ & Music Producer, Michelle Billington, Line Producer and talent agent for TV, Film & Music productions
DJ Ste Cocky (music producers for club land and ministry of sound and Radio City DJs & Clubland Artist

And later in the year DJ Lee Butler (music producers for club land and ministry of sound and Radio City DJs & Clubland, Artist Sam Leech - The Beatles promoter, Gary Murphy award winning singer and guitar player, Bongo Eddie Folk original member of Kid Creole & The Coconuts and has toured with artists such as James Brown, Al Green, Stephanie Mills, Edwin Starr, and Martha Reeves plus lots more of the industry professionals-
will judge the final!

Tommy Jones The Royal Oak, John H Stacey world champion boxer, who has worked on the sound track for one of Ray Winston feature films
Mark Kenny who is due to release his first dance track with Ste Cocky, Lee Butler & Clubland popped in on Heat 1 to wish us well along with Suzanne Colins and Ann Marie Davies

Without talents shows like this how are we going to find talent? This is, after all, how we found the likes of The Beatles, Elvis Costello plus plenty more stars who come from the Northwest Area

We are seeking TV Broadcast for ROMP looking to be screened early 2010, The talent shows behind the scene’s is being filmed by Leila Merabti from Tubedale Films

Heat 1 seen four finalist go thru to the ¼ finals Heidi Mc Geough (Wirral), Estelle Riley, (Oxton) Roxanna Male (Liverpool)

and Leanne Sweeney from Newbrighton who was also picked by Ste Cocky & Lee Butler to be the first to go into the studio and record two dance tracks that will be submitted to Clubland

The most exciting thing about this talent show there will be one lucky winner who will bag the big celebrity prize, £1000 cash, designer outfit by repooc, hair & make-up by Beau Belle beauty parlour, your own personal CD cover & recorded dance track, a possibility of getting a recording contract with one of Clublands Artists, a 2 year management contract with Michelle Billington, a photo shoot for your CD cover by the Buz Magazines top photographer & it will be submitted to all around the world, producers of Clubland for consideration plus other industry professional and air time on the radio this prize is the tool too pursue your dream

We created ROMP to help people in our community and all profits made from ROMP go to Getwise Community Interest Company a non for profit Film and Music Production Company, We want to put money back into giving local talent the chance to pursue there dreams, the winner of this competition could be as big as Alexandra or Leona the Dance world is massive in the UK and Worldwide, this could be YOU

Each heat starts 11am at The Royal Oak Liscard Wallasey CH45 4JG you can turn up on the day or contact the Buz Magazine 0151 649 9449 or Michelle Billington of Castmeuk at romp@castmeuk.com or 07840 435 235 for your application form and more information (entry fee of £20.00) is payable on the day or via the contacts above to fast track your entry

I think Chris and his crew chatting is the best thing about his show. I don't like it when they play too much music.

i think chris is the best thing to happen to radio for a long time. i started to listening to him when he was doing the early morning show. about 4 in the morning i liked him then and still think hes the same man.
George Comment by George on July 27, 2008 at 2:48am
Personally I think the music spoils the Chris Moyles show. Id much rather listen to him than most of the crap we have in the charts.

This will cheer somebody up...
A site that pays people just 4 joining because more members it gets the better it's helping Mother Earth.
Chris could mention this site at saveNaturefree unless he still hasn't seen it,,, YET?

The site is paying you just for joining. You qualify by adding two LOCAL friends to the site then you get a monthly paycheck.

It's no shifty scheme, I am the webmaster and founding member and if you want to be in on the deal you have to be in the first 100 in your neighborhood.
