Every decent human being should condemn the US President and his administration for wanting to lift the ban on commercial whaling. It means that Japan, Iceland and Norway will soon be killing thousands of whales, even some endangered species. On June 21st the International Whaling Commission meets in Morocco to decide what will happen to the whales. President Obama is breaking his campaign promise and is now in favor of commercial whaling. I am ashamed that the leader of my country, who got my vote before I knew that he would break his promises, is in favor of this cruel and inhumane slaughter of thousands of whales. Please write to him and his administration and complain about this.

Hope you get the chance. He's cool and all, but right now I'm more concentrated on trying to study abroad in Australia. Would I mind running into him there? Absolutely not! I had my interview almost 2 weeks ago and I'll find out sometime in April whether I'm selected or not. Shoot, I'm as fixed on going to Australia as most of you are on meeting the Hoff! My fingers are crossed for all of us!
