This is true. The show wouldn't be what it was without KITT, without William Daniels. His personality, sarcasm, and humor with David Hasselhoff made the series.

Yes I agree with you Sarah, William Daniels really made KITT shine! :-) Nobody will ever be able to take his place, he was truly the best as KITT. Hope we get to meet him sometime. ;-)

Yea I totally agree with ya. The show just is not the same without David and William Daniels as the voice of KITT. They are the ones who made the show what it is today....and Val Kilmer as the voice of KITT I can not get used to that. I do not like the new show at all.

I like the new show.. I didn't like Val Kilmer at first either, and it's still not that great, but he's growing on me. The show has really gotten a lot better since the reboot. There will never be a better KITT then William Daniels, though.

The new Kitt is cute in his own way, but will never be the original. He has grown on me a lot more since the show has been on for a while though. I'm anxious to see if we get a season 2.

I received a comment from someone the other day that the plans are in the making for David to be on the new show sometime in the second season. I don't know how true it is, but that's the report I got. And there is also a petition going around for NBC to keep the new show. There is some concern because they had originally ordered 22 episodes but they have now cut that doen to 17 which is apparently the first sign that a show is in trouble. If we want to see our original Michael Knight come back we have to show our support and ask NBC to keep the show around. There is a group listed here on HoffSpace that leads to the petition link-just follow the directions if you are interested.

Yes! I saw and signed that petition.. The cutting down of episodes was due to NBC doing budget cuts, nothing to do with Knight Rider itself.
