At least I wanted to do something reasonable on my weekend off :-))
So I grabbed me a Mamiya and a few slide roll films to take some photos the old fashioned way - create them on a big focussing screen, and then waiting for the film to come back, that's meditative somehow.

Still can hardly believe that I did it. Normally I hate being in a crowd and I hate listening to German Volksmusik shows even for a second, but at the end - I had to do it. I took the long way and spent money for no better reason than to satisfy a feeling that I'm carrying with me since I've been a child. Just wanted to see you, get near to you. The first year I celebrated your birthday. I was 13 and in love with you.

On this day I was on tour with my younger brother and we did a lot of stupid things together. Unbelievable, how this could go together: Having feelings for a man who could have been my father and on the other hand wandering with my brother through fields and meadows, playing on combines and running away when someone was coming.
