@more tax income: that's what dumb politicans think will happen... their mind is so focussed on getting a little "special fee by the investor" that they even don't think about (the legal!) tax leaks a company can use to decrease their tax outcome...

Well (to be honest I never have been to Berlin yet), what bothers me is that the way how our history is treated. Like some famous Americans like to say: It's all about the money and everybody's got a price... If a part of history has to vanish just because of a (sorry for that) creapy son of a bitch has the power of money... that's somethin' to stand against. Don't get me wrong, everybody who's earned money by himself has my respect. But in times where "normal" people are not even able to pay the rent for a room in Berlin we need payable appartments, no luxury appartments. But guess which one will win? right... the luxury one. Plain simple why: more income by a real estate company means more tax income for the city of Berlin. More tax income means a decrease of the financial gap within the city's financial household. So that's the best example of how history in times of bankers and investors is treated.

This is not just a part of German history, it was a great experience for everyone in the world. Before the fall of the wall for those who live south of Germany, it was impossible to go to West Germany nor west of it. Now we can go where we wish and to appreciate the opportunity that is given to humanity.I am firmly behind every one who supports the cause to preserve that heritage. It must be possible to show our kids and their kids a really important part of our history and the people that this should be NEVER repeat. So many touching and sad stories happened because of this wall. I was there at this sunday to show our government that we are against to tearing the wall down, for now it seems that it works but we must keep fighting, Berlin didn´t need more luxus appartments on a place like this. I will go out everytime again to say no. I´m really touched to see that not only "Berliner" are fighting for the East Side Gallery. It´s important to show the world that this symbol stands for FREEDOM.

I say thank you to you Dave to support us. So let us keep fighting together to not tearing down the wall.
