Hey, everybody! I returned this weekend to visit my friends at the San Gabriel Valley Humane Society. While there, I met a lovely young woman who is the proud owner of a beautiful Dalmatian! I wish her nothing but joy and love with her new best friend.

As an animal lover myself, I too brought home a new dog, and it has been a wonderful new addition to my family. I urge all of my fans and friends out there to do what they can to help these wonderful creatures find a new home.

If you just can't adopt a pet but still want to help, please call the San Gabriel Valley Humane Society at (626)286-1159 to donate. In addition to money, they accept pet food, supplies, leashes, collars, and many other things that will help them drastically improve the lives of these magnificent creatures. For my international friends, please contact your local pet shelters and do what you can to help.

I love dogs more than anything on the face of this earth. They are one of the most precious gifts from God. They give you unconditional love and they are truly man's best friend!!! Comment by nicola jayne barnes on March 2, 2010 at 3:57pm: We are both animal lovers and we have a charity in the UK called the Dogs Trust they take in unwanted dogs who for no fault of their own cannot be rehomed for one thing or another, the charity has an ethos they ill never put a healthy dog to sleep. We have sponsored two dogs a mongrel called Digby and my fiance has one Jack Russel called Jacob he is and mine are adorable and cute as well.
Please can you show us your new friend we as your friends carry your ethos and understanding is we have a logo at the Dogs trust. A Dog is for life and not for Christmas.

She is my baby and is a big part of my family...What kind of dog did you get???? I love puppies and kittens!!! They are the best!!!
