Eles eram inseparáveis, eram uma só Alma. Mas por alguma razão seus caminhos tomaram dois rumos distintos e se separaram.

 

E ISTO INICIOU ASSIM:

 

Eu nunca voltei a saber do meu amigo até o dia de ontem, depois de 10 anos, que caminhando pela rua me encontrei com a mãe dele.

 

A comprimentei e perguntei por meu amigo. Nesse momento seus olhos se encheram de lágrimas e me olhou nos olhos dizendo:

- Morreu ontem...

 

Não soube o que dizer a ela, ela seguia me olhando e então perguntei como ele tinha morrido.

 

Ela me convidou a ir a sua casa, ao chegar ali me chamou para sentar na velha sala onde passei grande parte de minha vida, sempre brincávamos ali, meu amigo e eu.

 

Me sentei e ela começou a contar-me a triste história.

 

Fazia 2 anos que diagnosticaram uma rara enfermidade, e sua cura dependia de receber todo mês uma transfusão de sangue durante 3 meses, mas... Recorda que seu sangue era muito raro?

- Sim, eu sei, igual ao meu...

 

Ele dizia que da única pessoa que receberia sangue seria de ti, mas não quiz que te procurássemos, ele dizia todas as noites:

- Não o procurem, tenho certeza que amanhã ele virá...

 

Assim passaram os meses, e todas as noites se sentava nessa mesma cadeira onde estás tu sentado e orava para que te lembrastes dele e viesse na manhã seguinte.

 

Assim acabou sua vida e ontem na última noite de sua vida, estava muito mal, e sorrindo me disse:

- Mãe, eu sei que logo meu amigo virá, pergunta pra ele por que demorou tanto e entrega a ele esse bilhete que está na minha gaveta.

 

A senhora se levantou, regressou e me entregou o bilhete que dizia:

- Meu amigo, sabia que virias, tardastes um pouco mas não importa, o importante é que viestes. Agora estou te esperando em outro lugar, espero que demores a chegar aqui, mas enquanto isso quero dizer desde o céu tens um amigo cuidando de ti, meu querido melhor amigo. Ah, por certo, te recordas porquê nós nos distanciamos? Sim, foi porque não quiz te emprestar minha bola nova, rsrs, que tempos heim... Éramos insuportáveis, bom pois quero dizer que te dou ela de presente e espero que gostes muito. Amo você! Teu amigo de sempre e para sempre!
