I want to take this opportunity to show my sincere love and support for the amazing people at the San Gabriel Valley Humane Society. Since 1924 they have given homes to thousands upon thousands of stray, abandoned, or neglected dogs and cats, and have provided for them a chance at a new life.

If you live in or near the San Gabriel Valley, please do what you can to help. Volunteer, donate, or even adopt one of these wonderful pets if you have the room. For the rest of you around the world, please visit your local animal shelter and find out what you can do to help these unfortunate animals.

I took the video above during a recent trip to the shelter to show some of the pets available for adoption. You can also go to their website at Sgvhumane.org for more information, and to see a more beautiful dogs and cats that need a home.

Let’s work together to find each one of these animals a loving home and a new life, and please, if you haven’t done so already, remember to spay or neuter your pets.

Love and Respect,

DH

Thank you for sharing this video with us. In the UK we watch all the American animal programs on Animal planet we also cry at the abuse and mal treatment of innocent animals. They give us unconditional love and we all as animal lovers should do the same. Thank you David for making us all aware of the suffering these lovely Dogs suffer at the hands of man. In the UK we have adopted and sponsored two Dogs from the Dogs Trust they never put a healthy Dog down.

You are a Hero in our lives.

Love and respect your two friend Nicola and Stuart xx.

I love all kinds of animals!!! I once worked in a vet clinic taking care of sick animals. Some of them that came in were in bad shape but they made a complete recovery!!! I have a cat that I got from my local Humane Society...Her name is Angel!!! She is 1 and a half yrs old and she is spoiled rotten!!!! I have had her since 6 wks old. She is a big part of my life...my baby!!!! That is a great blog and video David. It is very important to take care of animals instead of hurting them because it is cruel!!! Thanks so much for the blog and video!!! Take care and God Bless, Heather

I have 3 dogs and thay have all been adopted from human socities. One of them, my redboone coonhound, was near death when we got her. Now I'm happy to report that they are all happy, spoiled and healthy. They are my kids!
