I just wanted to thank you for your support of our troops. I know that it helps a lot and brings everyone's spirits up that are so far from home. I am a military wife myself for 11 years now and I know from personal experience that it is really hard on the soldiers and there families to be so far apart for a year or more at a time. Out of the 11 years I have been with my husband I have gotten to spend about 5 of those years with him, the rest of the time he has been away from home. He is in the army currently stationed in Iraq until the end of next year and it's been really difficult for me this time. My husband was stationed in Korea last year for a year before he came home for 10 months to leave again for Iraq. He sent me a couple of pictures from Korea and they were really beautiful. I worry constantly about him and pray that he will return to me safe and sound. I try really hard to be strong most of the time but sometimes it gets to be more than i can handle. I am just glad that he will be retiring in about 2 years. I am so greatful that you would take time out of your busy schedule to visit our troops, it tells me that you are a great man but i already knew that. Thanks so much for your support, I have been a big fan of yours since 1980 and maybe someday I will finally get to meet you and be able to shake your hand and tell you in person.
